Why “Pixel”?

A pixel is the smallest unit of a digital image. On its own, it provides very little. However, when thousands of pixels come together, they create something meaningful: a complete picture.

We see financial data in much the same way.

Every sale, supplier invoice, payroll entry, and expense is a single piece of information. Individually, these transactions may seem insignificant, but together they tell the story of a business. They reveal performance, highlight trends, identify opportunities, and provide the insight needed to make informed decisions.

The name Pixel reflects our belief that meaningful business intelligence is built from understanding the details. Whilst individual transactions may appear small, collectively they create the picture that business owners rely upon to guide their future.

If Pixel reflects our philosophy, the meaning behind BK is perhaps less mysterious: it stands for bookkeeping, the foundations of our business .

Whilst our services have evolved, bookkeeping remains at the heart of what we do. Accurate financial records are the foundation of reliable reporting, meaningful analysis.

By retaining BK in our name, we recognise the importance of getting the fundamentals right. After all, good decisions require good data.
